Benefits Service
Liverpool Direct Limited provides a fully integrated benefits service dealing with a range of income-related entitlements.
This service includes:
- Housing and council tax benefits for approximately 80,000 customers.
- Educational awards for over 20,000 school students.
- Benefits take-up advice via a dedicated benefits maximisation function.
- Counter fraud services which root out abuse of the system.
- Benefit overpayment recovery.
We have been rated as an 'excellent' 4 star service by the Benefits Fraud Inspectorate under the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA).
In 2005 we won the Institute of Ratings, Revenues and Valuation award for excellence in customer service.
Our experience of managing technology, business process and cultural change is based upon a creative mix of local government practitioner expertise and BT change management skills.
