Broadband for Members

Elected Members in Liverpool can now serve their constituents more effectively, thanks to a project by Liverpool Direct Limited [LDL] to ensure every Councillor has a broadband connection in their home.

Before the project, Members were using a computer and a Secure Remote Access Service [SRAS] to dial into the Council network via their home telephone line, which was not only slow, but also only available from their home PC.
