Another Standard is added to LDL's portfolio

Liverpool Direct Limited is celebrating once again as it has successfully been certified with the National Business Continuity Management Standard: BS25999.

The standard reflects a robust management system which Liverpool Direct Limited has designed and implemented to minimise disruption and ensure they can continue to provide their services during unexpected circumstances.

Liverpool Direct Limited’s Business Continuity Management System has been independently assessed against the standard’s criteria by a team of assessors. During the assessment staff and managers were interviewed and the assessors visited all areas of the business including our One Stop Shops.
David McElhinney, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Liverpool Direct Limited has been approved for the Business Continuity Management Standard BS25999. Over the past 18 months we have  worked tirelessly to produce a business continuity system to plan for any disruption should any unforeseen event(s) take place.”  

“The procedure you have to go through in order to obtain this nationally recognised standard is both rigorous and new to the UK. Liverpool Direct Limited is one of only four organisations in the public sector to gain this challenging accreditation which makes today’s news such a remarkable achievement.”
