The Interactive kiosk project is revolutionizing customer contact for the citizens of Liverpool. See how Customer Waiting Times where reduced by 32% and how 47% of housing enquiries where taken over by the kiosks with each kiosk receiving on average 148,393 hits per year.
The interactive kiosk project is part of Liverpool Direct, a joint venture with BT. The project objectives are to enable citizens of Liverpool who do not have internet access at home to be able to access council and partners services on line and 'self serve' through the kiosks, which are based in internal and external locations throughout the city.

One Stop Shops
The network of 11 Liverpool Direct One Stop Shops provides high quality, first point of contact services citywide, fulfilling over 350,000 requests for services each year.
All of our 200 One Stop Shop customer service advisers are specially trained in the wide range of services on offer and will, wherever possible, try to resolve your query on the spot. This means that all your council business can be dealt with in one place.
One Stop Shops are also fully equipped with interactive kiosks where customers can 'self serve' to perform a range of council and partner services, such as paying council tax, looking for a property, searching for a job and using the journey planning facility.
Our customers include vulnerable, disabled and hard to reach groups for whom we provide language line and interpreting services, minicom services, large print and Braille documentation. One Stop Shops are fully accessible/DDA compliant.
One Stop Shops provide services ranging from general enquiries through to specialist services, such as Revenues and Benefits appointments, homelessness enquiries and planning applications.
